Connecting a TradeLocker broker

Auto-sync Gates FX, Crucial Markets, and other TradeLocker brokers.

What you need

TradeLocker powers brokers like Gates FX and Crucial Markets. To auto-sync, use the same email and password you use to log into your broker's TradeLocker portal, plus your server name. The connection is read-only and your credentials stay encrypted.

Copy the server name from your broker's TradeLocker portal, it is shown there.

1. Add the connection

Go to Settings, then Connections, open the Auto-sync tab, choose Add auto-sync account, and pick TradeLocker.

2. Enter your details

  • Server is your TradeLocker server name.

  • Email and Password are your TradeLocker portal login.

  • Environment is Demo or Live.

  • Account label is optional.

Then choose Connect TradeLocker.

If that login contains more than one account, choose the account you want TradeDNA to follow. Each option shows its account number and only the ending of its account ID. Nothing is imported until you make that choice. Reaching this account picker confirms that your email, password, server, and environment worked for account discovery in that attempt.

3. Wait for the first sync

When it connects, you will see how many trades were imported. New trades sync on their own from here.

If the selected account does not connect, choose the same account and retry once. If the second attempt fails, contact support and include whether the account is Live or Demo plus the masked account ending shown in the picker. Keep the existing connection row while support checks it.

If a fresh attempt cannot reach the account picker, double-check your email, password, environment, and the exact server name from your TradeLocker portal.

When an account action is needed

If the connection asks you to Choose account, TradeDNA preserved the existing journal but needs you to identify the brokerage account it should follow. If it asks you to Connect new account, the account previously connected is no longer available under that login.

Choose the account again through the connection form. If the selected account still has an open position, close it first and retry after the account is flat. The existing journal stays on the original account, and the newly selected account starts syncing from the verified flat cutover. When the original account already contains history, open its disconnected row and choose Reconnect. Do not delete that row or use Add auto-sync account to reconnect it.
