One account here per real account
Every broker, funded, or prop account you trade gets its own account in TradeDNA. That is what keeps each account's balance, P&L, stats, and drawdown honest, and it is how prop-firm rules get tracked against the right trades. Never import one account's statements into another account, even temporarily. Mixed trades skew every number on both sides and there is no clean undo.
Add the account first
Go to Settings, then Connections, and pick the lane that fits:
Auto-sync if the broker or platform is on the connect list. Live trades stream in on their own.
Import files if you will upload statements or CSVs. Choose Add CSV account, name it after the real account, and pick its platform type.
Manual logging if you will enter trades by hand.
The name is yours, so make it recognizable, like Topstep 50K or FTMO 100K. Once the account exists, it shows up in the account switcher and as a destination in the importer.
Tracking a prop or funded account (Topstep, Apex, FTMO)
Topstep accounts can auto-sync, see Connecting TopstepX. For a prop account that cannot, tracking is still fully supported:
Add it as its own account under Import files, as above. TopstepX trades reports import natively.
On Playbooks, open My Plays and add a challenge for it. Pick your firm, challenge type, and account size, and TradeDNA tracks the real rule set: profit target, daily loss, and trailing drawdown.
Import your statements into that account as you trade, and the challenge tracking stays current.
Import into the right account
When you upload a statement, the importer asks for the Account to import into at the top. Pick the account those trades actually belong to. If it is not in the list yet, use Add another account in Connections right below the selector, then come back and import.
