Journaling your trades

Log your psychology day by day so patterns show up in your results.

Why journal

Your journal is where the real edge gets built. Logging how you felt and what you saw, day by day, lets TradeDNA connect your state of mind to your results, so you can see which habits make you money and which cost you.

Write today's entry

Open Journal. The left panel is your entry for the selected day, and it saves as you go, there is no separate save-and-new step. Pick any day from the calendar in the middle to write or review that day.

What goes in an entry

  • Psych sliders: rate your Sleep, Stress, and Focus for the day.

  • Pre-session bias: what you expect the market to do, your key levels, the news.

  • Post-session reflection: what actually happened, and whether you honored your plan.

  • Mood: tap all that apply, such as calm, patient, confident, or tilted.

Your entry saves on blur, and the day detail on the right lists the trades you took that day so your notes sit right next to your results.

A nudge when it helps

On days you traded but have not journaled, TradeDNA can send you an evening reminder so nothing slips. Turn it on under Settings, then Notifications.
