Fundamentals: the News tab

A live news feed on the Fundamentals page, tuned to what you trade.

What the News tab is

The News tab on the Fundamentals page is a live feed of market headlines, updated through the day. Each headline carries a short plain-English read, an impact marker, and the tickers it touches. The feed is tuned to what you actually trade, and you can widen or narrow it any time.

The market lens

A Markets row sits above the feed. It is how you choose which markets the headlines come from.

  • For You is the smart default. It reads the trades you actually take and shows the markets that matter to you.

  • Forex, Futures, Stocks, and Crypto each scope the feed to one market when you want to look at just that.

  • All markets opens the full feed with no market filter, for when you want to look as wide as possible.

Your pick sticks. When you refresh the page or share the link, the feed comes back on the same lens.

How the feed self-tunes

On For You, the feed follows your trading. Before you have any trades it leans on the markets you picked when you set up your account. Once you start logging trades it shifts toward the symbols and markets you trade most, so the headlines stay close to your book without you setting anything. Switch to a named market or All markets whenever you want a wider view, then back to For You to return to your own feed.

The impact filter

Two toggles set how much you see, marked High impact and All.

  • High impact shows only the headlines flagged as high impact. This is the default, and it keeps the feed to the moves worth watching.

  • All opens everything in the feed.

Every headline also carries its own impact marker in the row, so you can tell a high-impact item from the rest at a glance even on the All view.

Jump into Market Rewind

When a headline touches a symbol you can chart, its ticker shows up as a chip under the headline. Click the chip to open that symbol in Market Rewind right at the moment the headline landed, so you can see how price reacted on the chart and line it up against your own trades and journal for that window.

  • Not every ticker is chartable. Chips that open a chart are clickable, the rest read as plain tags.

  • Market Rewind is on the Pro and Quant plans.

Good to know

  • The feed reaches back about two weeks. A quiet stretch on a narrow lens just means nothing landed for those markets, not that something is wrong.

  • Headlines you have traded or hold open are flagged, so the news that touches your book stands out.
